		<description>Great post Dr. Beck.  New patients are definitely one of the key issues.  Most DCs will agree that retention is another key factor in practice growth.  If you simply increase PVA (patient visit average) from 20 to 30, you increase profit by 50% without new patients.  Now when you do get NP, they&#039;re automatically going to be worth more!
